Big dreams deserve a big stage, and that’s where Clayco comes in.
California has always been a place where bold ideas take center stage. For over two decades, Clayco has been proud to help build the backdrop to some of those dreams. With more than 300 team members across the state and deep partnerships with local subcontractors, we’re helping shape the communities and industries that define the Golden State. That’s why I’m especially excited about our latest role in the development of Hollywood Park Studios!
Located within the dynamic mixed-use environment of Hollywood Park in Inglewood (the largest urban mixed-use development under construction in the Western U.S), this new state-of-the-art studio campus will bring media, entertainment, and technology together in one powerful location. The first phase includes five cutting-edge sound stages, an 80,000-square-foot creative office building, and a 1,100-vehicle parking structure with support for up to 60 production trailers. The project will also have potential expansion to include up to 20 stages and another 200,000 square feet of office space. This is true blockbuster potential!
Hollywood Park Studios will even serve as the International Broadcast Center for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games – a strong symbol that what makes this project special is its community impact. We are creating a “city within a city” that will generate jobs, attract global talent, and support the next generation of storytellers. Construction of Hollywood Park Studios begins later this month, led by Gensler on design, Clayco as general contractor, and Pacific Edge as project manager. Backed by the visionary leadership of LA Rams Owner and Hollywood Park developer Stanley Kroenke, this trusted collaboration will help lay the groundwork for a legacy that will shape Inglewood’s future.
Of course, this isn’t Clayco’s first scene at Hollywood Park. The Kali Hotel, currently under construction just steps away, will bring 13 stories of luxury hospitality, a rooftop pool, yoga deck, spa, fitness center, and 20,000 square feet of event space to the neighborhood. Set to open in 2026, it will offer a stellar experience for locals and visitors alike, especially with SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, Intuit Dome, and the Kia Forum all within walking distance.
As someone who’s spent a lifetime building things that matter, I can’t help but feel excited about creating a thriving ecosystem that will serve the community for years to come. Stay tuned, California, we’re just getting started. This project’s already a blockbuster—if it were a movie, it’d be racking up rave reviews!
