All Aboard from St. Louis to London
A historic St. Louis to London flight sparks new global ties, highlighting shared strengths, strategic partnerships, and long-term economic opportunity between the two regions.

Global commerce doesn’t slow down, so the infrastructure behind it can’t either.
Ships arrive, planes land, trucks roll in and out of distribution centers around the clock. If the infrastructure behind that movement isn’t ready, everything slows down.
That’s why projects like Bellwether District Unit 1 matter.
Clayco and LJC recently delivered this 326,000-square-foot logistics facility at The Bellwether District in Philadelphia, strategically located near Philadelphia International Airport and PhilaPort. When you’re building for modern supply chains, two things matter most: where the building sits and how well it’s delivered.
Location alone makes this project significant. Philadelphia sits at an important crossroads for global trade, connecting port activity, air cargo, and regional distribution networks. Strengthening logistics capacity here helps keep those networks moving and reinforces the city’s role as a gateway for commerce.
But what makes this project especially interesting is that it’s part of something bigger. The Bellwether District is transforming a historic industrial site into a modern center for logistics, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing. Delivering one of the first logistics facilities in that redevelopment is an important step toward bringing that vision to life.
From the beginning, our focus went beyond just building square footage. The facility was designed to support the kind of high-volume operations that modern distribution demands, while also remaining flexible for future users. When supply chains evolve, buildings need to evolve with them.
Sustainability was also built into the project early. Rooftop solar infrastructure and EV charging provisions were incorporated to support long-term performance and help reduce operating costs over time. These aren’t just good environmental decisions. They’re smart operational ones.
Buildings like this play a critical role in keeping commerce moving and supporting economic growth. And when they’re built in the right place, with the right team and the right vision, they can help shape the future of an entire district.
