Every great structure starts with a pour—and so does every great career.
That first pour means the crew’s here. It means the forms are set, the mix is right, and the work is about to get done. That’s how you build something that lasts.
CSI is Clayco’s concrete business. We self-perform structural slabs, tilt-up walls, flatwork, and more. We bring our own people, our own tools, and our own mindset. Safety, quality, and delivery are the standard.
We don’t just get jobs done—we own the outcome. We plan it, we pour it, and we make it last.
In 2024, we leased 191,000 square feet in Hazelwood, Missouri. We didn’t lease that space just to take up room. We did it because we had work to do and needed the right place to do it.
A year later, 20,000 square feet of that space has become something more: a hands-on center for training, innovation, and workforce development. It’s where we test smarter mixes, sharpen field techniques, and bring in new talent the right way.
It’s built for the field. Not the boardroom.
Innovation’s not a slogan. You either see it in the field or you don’t.
In Hazelwood, we test it, we tweak it, and we keep what works. Smarter mixes. Bluetooth curing sensors. Better forming methods. If it helps us build better, we use it.
And we’re not doing it alone. We’re expanding our partnership with the Construction Career Development Initiative (CCDI) to give young people from underrepresented backgrounds real training, real jobs, and a real shot in this business.
This is how we build better. Every day. With the right crew, the right mindset, and the right pour.
There’s more to the pour with CSI.
