Unveiling Phase 1 of the Clark Family Branch - Post Event Space and Plaza

CONGRATULATIONS to the POST Holdings Companies ribbon cutting ceremony at the “soon-to-open” Clark Family Branch of the St Louis County Library in Frontenac, Missouri!

Libraries are the cornerstone of connection and communities. I am humbled that my family was able to invest in such a spectacular place for diverse people and ideas to flourish. We had a wonderful time at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the branch's Post Event Space and Plaza! This space, sponsored by Post Holdings Companies, will be home to the Library’s popular author event series which is number one in the country, as well as many other events and performances!

It was great to see so many in attendance, including Ken Kranzberg and his family, who will also be key donors to the new branch. Ribbon cuttings always serve as an important symbol of new beginnings and collective achievement, something Clayco, Lamar Johnson Collaborative, and the entire St. Louis community should feel very proud of! It was an inspiring celebration of all of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration poured into this renewed institution.

The ceremony was complete with speeches and followed by a sold-out talk and Q&A with Darius Rucker, Grammy-award winning country music star of Hootie & the Blowfish and author of the memoir “Life’s Too Short” which was introduced at the event.

July 9th will be the official grand opening of the Clark Family Branch, so make sure to mark your calendars! I can't wait for the development to be unveiled so the public can enjoy the new two-story, 74,000-square-foot branch featuring high windows, an outdoor courtyard, a walking trail, a small business center, and more! One of the most critical aspects of this project is how it will enable the St. Louis County Library to curate educational programming that furthers the Library’s mission.

Community improvement has always been one of my core values, and I am thrilled to help bring this beautiful, modern library to my hometown of St. Louis!

Learn more here and see you on July 9th!
