On the Pathway to RVCL Progress

The Clayco Foundation is on the Pathway to Progress!

Earlier this week, we welcomed Dr. Jonathan Miner, MD, Ph.D., to give insight into the latest developments in Retinal Vasculopathy with Cerebral Leukoencephalopathy (RVCL) research.

Dr. Miner is considered one of the foremost experts in the field of RVCL, an ultra-rare disease characterized by the deterioration of small blood vessels. He leads the University of Pennsylvania’s RVCL Research Center and oversees patients and clinical trials.

Our work through The Clayco Foundation is helping researchers progress toward personalized RVCL medicine, curing rare genetic diseases, and positively impacting worldwide healthcare. We are committed to establishing a better community of patients and caregivers and have made amazing strides in understanding the condition and exploring treatments.

It was great to gather for such a transformative cause and support RVCL patients, doctors, and researchers – but we are still far from the finish line. We need your help to improve the lives of those impacted by rare diseases. Whether you attend our upcoming Illumination 2023 gala on October 28th or donate directly to The Clayco Foundation, your funds will help provide a better future for vulnerable communities.

Stay tuned for more advancements underway.
