We are bringing a “pawsitive” development to Columbus, Georgia! Clayco, Lamar Johnson Collaborative, and Concrete Strategies are working on a pet food ingredients facility for AFB International.
AFB creates and sells palatant ingredients globally, enhancing the taste of pet food, treats, and supplements. This ensures pets not only enjoy their meals but also receive vital nutrients. The company focuses on palatability, partnership, and people to bring pet food solutions that enrich relationships and lives.
Our project broke ground earlier this year, and operations are set to begin in 2024. While the development caters to furry friends, it also serves as a platform to realize AFB's mission to deliver innovative products and services.
As advocates of the “Art & Science of Building,” we at Clayco work to not only create structures for our clients, but to benefit the communities where we operate. This project represents a $79 million investment into the local region and is estimated to create more than 100 new jobs in the next five years.
