I’m All In! Cara Spencer for STL Mayor

St. Louis needs change. A leader with a strong track-record and vision will help forge the path forward towards prosperity and growth. That’s why I’m ALL IN for St. Louis Alderwoman Cara Spencer, who is running for St. Louis Mayor in 2025!

Spencer grew up in South St. Louis City and St. Louis County and has been committed to making an impact on local politics for the past 10 years. She has been the Alderperson of Ward 8 since 2023, which includes Downtown St. Louis, Soulard, and Lafayette Square. She has an excellent track record serving the area as previously, between 2015 and 2023, she represented Ward 20, which is located in South St. Louis and consists of Dutchtown, Gravois Park, Marine Villa, and Mount Pleasant.

Some of her most successful legislation includes imposing stricter air pollution standards than state requirements on asbestos in demolitions and protecting victims of drug overdose by enacting the first municipal good Samaritan law in the US. She also co-developed a “mow-to-own” program, which allows residents to obtain an adjacent city-owned lot by mowing it for one year.

There’s a reason why almost every person I asked to come to the in-person campaign kickoff on June 4th showed up (plus way more of the veteran Alderperson’s supporters). Spencer has a track-record of delivering and this drew an electric crowd turnout of people from all walks of life across the community. It was great to see so many citizens who are dedicated to supporting her commitment to turn actions into results!

“Despite hundreds of millions of federal COVID dollars - our roads are in terrible shape, people still don’t feel safe in our communities and we are losing population at a record pace. Reckless drivers are out of control and trash doesn’t get picked up with the regularity we all deserve. Our city isn’t meeting the needs of her people,” Spencer wrote on social media before the event, and I couldn’t agree more with her focus on drastically improving the city.

She is dedicated to making St. Louis grow, safer, and work for everyone. The city is at a crossroads, and this is a vital time to turn things around. We ALL have to be in this together to get this done! The future of St. Louis depends on it.
