Ride the Wave: Week 1 Update

We’ve already hit the ground running with our Ride the Wave tour, and it has been a busy few days! I’m so glad to have the opportunity to meet with my teams again face-to-face, and you just can’t beat getting to see all of the great work they’ve been doing in person. The return from remote work can’t come soon enough!

Our week started off strong on Monday, with a stop in Pontiac, Michigan to see the progress on Project Cougar, a regional distribution and fulfillment center for Amazon. Next, we went to New Windsor, New York, and University Park, Pennsylvania to visit the sites of two different parking garage projects.

We got an early start on Tuesday, with a stop in New Castle, Delaware to see Project Madison and Project Sophia. We then traveled to the site of Project Conduit in Greencastle, Pennsylvania and finished the day with a visit to three confidential logistics center job sites in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Wednesday took us to Sparrows Point, Maryland, where we visited two building projects for Tradepoint and McCormick Foods. Later, I had the chance to visit the site of the new Centene East Coast Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, and what will be a stunning 80 acre campus that’s currently the biggest development deal in the state!

Greenville, South Carolina was our first stop on Thursday, where we stopped by Project Spartan and continued on to Columbia, South Carolina, and Project Sunshine, a 1.2 million square foot distribution facility for a confidential brewery.

It was an exciting few days, and I’m so glad that I have the chance to see all the great things Clayco is doing around the country. Nothing can beat meeting with your team members in-person, I can’t wait to continue with the rest of the Ride the Wave tour next week!
