Supporting Black Communities with Clayco Initiatives

Black History Month is a powerful reminder of Black Americans’ critical contributions to creating America as we know it – and the unjust, widespread adversity they still face despite it.

Understanding and celebrating Black history is critical to the unification and healing that our country so deeply needs. It’s essential to take time this month to recognize that Black history and culture are the same as all of America’s and uplift the voices of members of the Black community to share their stories and truths.

Clayco actively supports people of color and organizations through various diversity and inclusion initiatives, including CCDI – Construction Career Development Initiative, National Society of Black Engineers | NSBE Professionals, NOMA, and ACE Mentor Program of America.

Our team is focused on making a difference beyond the walls and structures we create and positively impacting the lives of those around us. We also participate in civic outreach to further the mission of Clayco Rising by putting people above all else.

Clayco Rising builds meaningful opportunities for our employees, minority and women-owned business partners, and communities of color. We work to facilitate equitable possibilities, relationships, and accountability for all, free of discrimination. Our Black Resource Group, the Construction Career Development Initiative, and the Juneteenth Fund are a few ways that Clayco Rising supports the Black community.

We are committed to inciting our industry to rise, support, and honor the work and efforts of Black Americans for February and beyond.
