CCDI Celebrates Scholarship Recipients and Graduates

Congratulations to the Construction Career Development Initiative’s (CCDI) 2023 class of Build Our Future Scholarship recipients!

Clayco is proud to be one of the many sponsors of CCDI, which connects youth in underserved communities with career opportunities in construction. During the annual Build Our Future Scholarship award ceremony last week, the program awarded its largest class of recipients $170,000 in scholarships and commemorated the first four college graduates who have secured full-time employment! The newest scholars will attend Missouri S&T, Drury, and Prairie View A&M.

The graduates were accompanied by program mentors who talked about their journeys, achievements, and involvement in CCDI. The ceremony also awarded four students the Richard Boyd, Jr. Memorial Trades Scholarship to continue their education in trades-related fields at Ranken. This scholarship was created to honor Richard’s life and celebrate his memory.

Best of luck to all students, graduates, and soon-to-be construction industry innovators. Clayco is proud to sponsor and support these ambitious young professionals and continue to develop more inclusive and equitable spaces for everyone to reach their full potential.

Thank you to the dedicated individuals and sponsors who make CCDI possible by devoting time, energy, and resources to support the communities where we operate and the residents who live there.

Let’s keep building a brighter future for generations to come!
